About me
Hi, I’m Brian Farnhill and I’m a SharePoint architect and developer! I thought I would put this page together to explain a bit about who I am and to summarise the kinds of things I do.
I was awarded the MVP award for SharePoint Server in 2010. I also am a virtual technical solutions professional (vTSP) for Microsoft in Canberra as well. Both of these mean that I can help bring great knowledge about SharePoint and Office based solutions to clients and the community.
I currently hold MCTS [Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist] and MCAD [Microsoft Certified Application Developer] certifications. I am in the process of studying for the 3 remaining SharePoint related exams to add to my MCTS certification. I am a co-manager of the Canberra SharePoint user group, where we organise a new presentation each month so that we can share local knowledge an experiences around, and I have gotten so much from this group. We have a range of presenters from local SharePoint users as well as presenters from interstate and even overseas, so its great to be able to help organise something like this. I like giving back to the group that I have gotten so much from.
