My “Developing advanced user experience for SharePoint 2010” session
Mar 8
2011
Assuming I got the publishing settings right for this, this post should be going live as I’m presenting my session at the the Australian SharePoint Conference. Basically this post is a summary of links and references to content that I’m discussing in the session. The [details of the session][1] are online at the SharePoint Conference site as well.
- Walkthrough: Creating a Custom Web Part with a Contextual Tab
- Using the dialog framework
- Loading script in SharePoint 2010
- Enterprise Search Query Architecture
- Document Converter Overview
- Creating Connectable Web Parts in SharePoint Foundation
Hope you guys enjoy the session!

Hey Jess,
At the moment your best bet to see the session is to check out the video from the NZ SharePoint conference, I have lost the link to it, but will see if I can get it for you and either post here or email it on. It's a bit too complex of a thing to describe the set up easily (I just make it look easy!) and that is also why I haven't posted the code yet. You aren't the first person to ask me about this though, so I might bump it up my priority list and see what I can do.

Hi Brian, thanks for this. I wanted to show my developer the solution 'share tube' you showed at a few conferences this year, and wanted to know if you have any images or brief step by step with images available to add, so it's easier to show him? Thanks, Jess
